Hostel Room Rotterdam in Rotterdam … Hostel Room is a wonderful new hostel staffed by very friendly and welcoming people. Each room is themed and decorated accordingly so check the book at reception if you get a choice! Breakfast is good and food is available all the time. There is a large communal area and bar where it is easy to meet people if that is what you want. The two women who started this hostel are travellers themselves and have given a lot of thought to the facilities based on their own experience. Rotterdam is great city to visit with numerous museums and attractions. The coffeshop scene is very gentle compared to Amsterdam but it is here. Make sure you take the boat trip to Kinderdijk, it's magical!
Flying Pig Beach Hostel in Noordwijk … I had the best time and was accommodated very well. They provided transportation which helped my travel tremendously.
Stayokay Den Haag Hostel in Den Haag … Very near the train station but a little far from the city centre (ten-minute walk, or so). Seemed like a slightly dodgy neighbourhood. Great buffet breakfast! Fun little bar on the main floor, and helpful staff. Dorm rooms were spacious with lockers, and a table and chairs. Internet cafe nearby and more expensive internet in the hostel.
HI - Stayokay Rotterdam Hostel in Rotterdam … I have stayed in many hostels in Europe and the USA, and this was one of the better ones. I loved this place. I stayed in an eight-bed female dorm — it was spacious, clean and well decorated. I was lucky and shared my room with a few great girls. An extensive buffet breakfast was included in the price, and the as-much-as-you-can-eat thing is great for backpackers on a budget. Cheap food and drink is available in the bar. Its a bit out of the town center but next to a metro station and in day time it's a pleasant walk through the museum park to the harbor area. Rotterdam proved to be a very interesting city with lots to see and do. I would love to return.
Stayokay Den Haag Hostel in Den Haag … I stayed at the Stayokay in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague — and the The Hague was the best. It was safe and clean. There was a shower in the room (an eight-female dorm), and the hostel is in a nice location, near the Holland Spoor train station. It has a very friendly staff, a lovely breakfast and a nice bar. Unfortunately, the Internet is very expensive!! But the place is great anyway. :)
Flying Pig Beach Hostel in Noordwijk … this hostel is awesome, and if you like the beach its even better. Twenty-person room is huge and a lot better than some four-person rooms you might stay in. owner is friendly, staff are good, whole place is relaxed and chilled out. free party shots at nine p.m., free internet, supermarket five minute walk away. There's a free shuttle bus between here and the other Flying Pig Hostels, so if Amsterdam is doing your head in, definitely come here. and if it isnt, come here anyway. Beach is one of best in Western Europe, wide and sandy, a lot like east coast Australian beaches.
HI - Stayokay Rotterdam Hostel in Rotterdam … The ever best-hostel I ever lived! The location is fine, it's just opposite the metro station. They provide a clean bedroom and bedsheets and a spacious, bright and tidy toilet, with a good shower! There are no lockers in-room and the room size is quite small. Breakfast and the restaurant are very nice too!
Flying Pig Beach Hostel in Noordwijk … talk about balance! i found this place to be ideal as a traveler. with the chilled out, laid back atmosphere i spent over a week there recouping from some of my travels. that's not to say that it's all mellow cause literally when the sun goes down, the party is just waiting to get started! the staff are friendly, helpful, and fun and the shuttle service makes it easy to get around. i stayed over christmas and new years and for my first christmas away from home it was pretty great! the staff made a huge traditional dutch brunch where we gorged until we could eat no more. the parties in the evening were full of laughs, games, and good times! i will be going back, and recommend it to others to check out!
Hostel Boat the Clipper in Rotterdam … Wow, perfect price/quality. The location is perfect in the center of Rotterdam, the hosts are very friendly and the breakfast is good. I have never before found a place to sleep for this amount of money in the center of a big city. It has clean and cozy cabins. I have seen worse.
Flying Pig Beach Hostel in Noordwijk … I had the best time at this hostel. After the craziness of Amsterdam, this place was the ultimate place to chill. It was really clean and the staff were awesome. I felt part of the team as soon as I arrived, and the parties were crazy! It was definitely a good end to my travels. Thanks for the memories; the beach rocks!!!
Hostel Room Rotterdam in Rotterdam … Amazing! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Right after check-in they told us the cool places to go, where to eat and shop. The bar was cheap for a quick drink before you go out or meet tons of other people at the hostel.
Flying Pig Beach Hostel in Noordwijk … I had my best times in Holland at this hostel. I stayed my first three nights there, and after a week in Amsterdam had to make an unplanned trip back because of the laid back atmosphere and the great people I met there. I highly recommend it for anybody that just wants to relax and meet some friendly people.
