Hostal Santo Domingo in Puebla … not really noisy, like many places in latin america it's a combo hostel/hotel, friendly staff, clean and in the historical center.
Hostal Santo Domingo in Puebla … This is a nice tranquil hotel but it is not a real hostel. There is a dorm, but I had more of a feeling this is a hotel since there are a couple of more expensive rooms for business man or other. The place is clean but there might be better places in town to meet fellow travellers. Great location, downtown.
Hostal Santo Domingo in Puebla … The hostel is more like a hotel but is very noisy. The inner rooms have no ventilation and staff likes to play loud music all day and into the night. So this is not the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place.
Hostal Xaman ek in Puebla … The new bulding is very nice, the rooms big and new, but there are only two showers. I didn't feel one hundred percent safe, because the reception wasn't always occupied and I think, nobody would note it, if anyone comes in. Otherwise very nice, friendly staff, clean.
