Mondala Hostel in Cuernavaca … Our hosts were absolutely wonderful. The hostel is clean and secure, and surprisingly nice compare to many hostels I have stayed in across the United States. It was not that far from downtown or the tourist sights. I really enjoyed my stay and the lack of curfew made it possible for us to experience the awesome nightlife of Cuernavaca and allowed me to hang out with my friends. I also appreciated the host's meet and greet of my friend Alberto -- just like parents making sure we were safe. Be prepared for an invitation to rock out with the hosts, as they have a rock band and practice nightly in the common area (fairly early, so they are not disturbing). I really enjoyed my stay at Mondala Hostel and will most likely stay there again. I have also recommended Mondala Hostel to my friends and family.
Mondala Hostel in Cuernavaca … This hostel is very secure, you can relax. The service is great and, best of all, it's cheap. The only con: its location--you're 20 min by taxi or 30 min by public bus from downtown.
