City of Luxembourg … Nice enough, though nothing special. You wouldn't need any more than a day. Quite expensive, too. You might meet a few like-minded backpackers, as there's only one hostel.
City of Luxembourg … I found Luxembourg City to be beautiful. I was only there for one day and as that might be enough, I could have stayed another day. There is a beautiful view. I would most definitely go back to Luxembourg City.
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … This is the best hostel I've stayed in. It has a good breakfast, and clean dorms. The actual dorm rooms were kitted out great. It's central to everything, and the staff are friendly--but some minimal French-speaking ability is probably desirable. It's the only hostel in the city--but you won't want to stay anywhere else, anyway!
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … This is certainly the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I felt like I was in a four-star hotel. Everything is new and amazingly clean, the breakfast is very good and the hostel is in a very nice part of town. The hostel has more businessmen than backpackers, so sometimes you can feel a bit out of place with the older people hanging around.
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … The hostel is great. I stayed in a room with four beds and we had a bathroom in the room. Everything was clean and the room was big and bright with really comfy beds. The breakfast was really good, big variety of things to eat and drink.
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … brand spanking new and very flash -- this place was fantastic. the staff were friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were clean, the lockers in the rooms were handy, they have a nice big TV lounge with comfy couches, the cafe was a plus and made really nice, and big, meals (the lasange and the pizza were great!), and the security was impressive (swiping the security card to get to your section of the building as well as your room). the breakfast selection could have been better but was fine overall and no-one was watching if you took a bit extra for lunch! it is down the bottom of a steep hill which is quite a walk up in the morning but is very good for ya!
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Everything is practically new in there and it shows! It has nice people, it's clean, comfortable, and has a very good breakfast. I definitely would return here.
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … It is a super hostel! It was the best place I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at quite many different hostels in Europe). Everything was just great! The nicest single-sex rooms, very clean and cosy -- wooden beds with individual light, nice sheets, wooden lockers inside the room, where you not just store your bag, but even hang your clothes, a table with chairs. It was amazing, because usually you can hardly find anything else except bed in hostels' rooms. Besides, we had a super view from the window. The hostel offers buffet breakfast, which was very good, too. You can also have some delicious meals there during the day and in the evening, for very reasonable prices. The cafe's open-air terrace is lovely.
The bathrooms are also very nice and clean, everything seemed to be new. The only thing which was a little bit annoying is that after a few minutes the water automatically stops to run, so you should push the button again and again. But all in all, this is not really a…

HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … this is great accommodation facility, but as a youth hostel it sucks. sure it one of the best places 'hostel' i have ever stayed, but the staff are less than friendly, its like Fort Knox and on the two separate times i was there, the place was booked out. Two hundred twenty beds! and no not by backpackers, but by badminton teams, soccer clubs, old people, your mums cooking club, you name it. i think i saw maximum five other backpackers the whole time. but its close to the city, the breakfast is huge/great (cereal, bread, meat, cheese, chocolate, coffee etc - all of which can be stealthily taken for lunch) the rooms are super clean, some have bathrooms others are shared, lockers are really big, but there is no kitchen, and trying to find a supermarket in the city was a mission to say the least. i saw staff turn back a young backpacker girl in the middle of the night after (after midnight) simply saying that they were full. not the type of 'youth hostel' that are really in it for the…
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … The staff were a little flustered because some guest was complaining that they didn't speak spanish at a hosteling international place! Seeing as these guys spoke french, german, english, letzebuergsch, and in some cases, dutch and italian this seemed a little silly and this guy would have a fit if he went to the U.K. or Australia! Breakfast was good, room was clean, good bathroom, very modern. Security was good with key card access. Bit of a walk to station, but the area is nice to walk around. Recommend it.
HI - Luxembourg City Hostel in Luxembourg … Clean, modern rooms. Motion sensor lights in the bathroom would turn off at inconvenient times though. Great, big breakfast. Terrible laundry facilities -- the dryer refused to dry our clothes after almost two hours. Very expensive Internet, too. Overall, a nice hostel with a few drawbacks.
