Marty Mouse in Izu Peninsula … Ideally situated with views of Shirahama, the area's most renowned surfing beach, Marty Mouse is a comfortable get-away in a peaceful location. The establishment features Japanese-style rooms of six tatami mat dimension, which we chose, as well as Western style rooms. Most rooms have a private bathroom and toilet. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodated questions about the area. A unique experience is ensured with the Inn's distinct and vibrant color scheme throughout. Marty Mouse is approximately fifteen minutes by bus from central Shimoda. Nearby eateries are few, although a convenience store and decent bar/restaurant are within ten minutes' walking distance.
