I like Trent becouse is a beatuiful city and becouse it's Chiara Lubich's hometown.
Giovane Europa Hostel in Trent … Great hostel out of the normal Italy tourist loop. It's close to the train station, has clean rooms, and the shower and bathrooms are beautiful (and in the rooms!). A nice balcony to 'chill' on. All in all, a great place to stay for a much-needed break in your travels.
HI - Riva del Garda - Benacus Hostel in Riva del Garda … I spent two weeks travelling round Northern Italy, and this was the best hostel I stayed in. Very cheap rates, but clean and comfortable. Really helpful manager, who even did my laundry for me! (at a cost of 4 euros, but it was well worth it). Perfect location in the centre of Riva and the internet point is well priced. Highly recommended!

Ostello di Trento Hostel - Giovane Europa in Trent … I discovered Trento by accident and fell in love with it straight away! I stayed in a hotel in the town for one night for approx £30. The hotel was ok. I stopped here the next night for £12 and it was great! I had a room with a skylight, good size room (double room, but I was the only occupant) and friendly and helpful staff! Fairly modern building and very clean (just as the Romans would have liked!) Very recommended, but much in demand for backpackers in the know.
Ostello di Trento Hostel - Giovane Europa in Trent … Excellent accommodation, dissimilar to most budget accommodation. The food is by fay the best part, although breakfast left a lot to be desired (one bread roll per person). The other meal each day (half board) was excellent -- a pasta course, a main, and a dessert. The rooms aren't luxury by any means, but are comfortable, and are excellent for the price, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
HI - Riva del Garda - Benacus Hostel in Riva del Garda … The location of this hostel is ideal, just steps from Lake Garda. The price is good and the rooms are, too.
Giovane Europa Hostel in Trent … I've been to this hostel last year and I recommend it. It's very well located and the place is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. So I'm coming back again this year!

Hotel Tschurtschenthaler in Dobbiaco … This was the most expensive and terrible hotel for the price that I have ever been to. Make sure to ask about the couple rates, as at 120 euros per night it is definitely not a luxury hotel. Also ask about the meal, which is supposed to be BOTH breakfast and lunch or dinner.
