Safed Inn in Safed Great people, great rooms, great food, wonderful garden, excellent facilities, perfect service and the most friendly, open and helpful caretaking for free -- must I say any more?! Thanks to Riki and Dov for the most wonderful time with them!
Safed Inn in Safed Stayed at Safed Inn in 1993 and 2007. It keeps getting better, especially with upgraded renovations the last two years. Meals always were homemade feasts of regional and international character. Hosts are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive of goals set by guests. Hosts are multilingual (English, Hebrew, German, Arabic ). Top of the mountain peak with terrific walking to town and forests, Very secure, safe area for travelers. Safed is fascinating, artistic, spiritual, historic. Medical care in town was very sophisticated and readily available, if needed. Hosts have many international experiences and happily share great info about touring Israel. Coming back next year.
Safed Inn in Safed My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay in this family-led hostel. The two friendly hosts gave us a warm reception and were very helpful in providing us with the right information what to visit in the nearby area. The rooms were also very cozy. In addition, the garden was quite special with a jacuzzi, a sauna, and all sort of plants (giving you the opportunity to pick some leaves for making a nice lemon-like tea and/or eat some seasonal fruits). We had a great time and we can -- without any hesitation -- recommend it to others.
Safed Inn in Safed Safed Inn is perfect -- a beautiful place with a cool garden, free jacuzzi, and Internet and most friendly and helpful owners who make you feel at home and help solve any problems you might have (including car repairs!). Excellent homemade food. A great location in the heart of Upper Galilee and a convenient starting point for trips all over the north of Israel, including the Golan Heights. A very good price for such a place. Highly recommended!
Safed Inn in Safed Better even we expected. We stayed June 17, 2009. Made Safed a highlight of our trip to Israel. For a reasonable price, we had a private suite that was airy and had a fine view. The jacuzzi and internet were easy to use. The owners are well worth knowing, and they recommended the ideal tour guide for Safed, its synagogues and culture and artisan shops. One recommendation is that for an evening trip up the mountain, have a good map to supplement the detailed instructions given by the inn.
