Jerusalem is so nice. Not only is there lots to see, but there also is amazing cuisine that fits into a small budget. And the partying is awesome.
Citadel Youth Hostel in Jerusalem … i went there may 2006, it was an amazing experience in the Old city. the lodge, wow, that building is just so great. everyone that comes to the Old City should experience the real lodging in Jerusalem!
New Palm Hostel in Jerusalem … Hey pals. I will not talk too long. This place is really my second home and my second family. All I want to say is that you should rush in a hurry here because it is really worth it!!! I like that place so much, despite the fact that my best brother Hazem finished his work there. I had such lovely days and nights there, so many good friends I made, so many things that I cannot believe!! I mean, they really care about you as a part of this lovely family. Come here soon, pals. It is an awesome place.

Saint Mark's Lutheran Hospice in Jerusalem … The best hostel I stayed ever! Everytime I visit Jerusalem, I stay in this hostel. Not only it is clean, is safe, and has a lovely terrace to view the Old City. Staff is also very helpful.
New Palm Hostel in Jerusalem … Since I first visited Palm Hostel two months ago, I have been a frequent guest here during my extended stay in Israel. Every time I come to Jerusalem I'm welcomed by my Palm Hostel "family" - that's what they've become! The place is affordable, clean, very friendly, offers free tea and entertaining company all day. El Hashimi Hostel in Jerusalem … I had the opportunity to stay at the Hashimi during my stay in Jerusalem. Wow, what a place!!! The location is ideal for getting a true taste of Palestinian culture. It is just steps away from the Old City's bustling market, and an absolute MUST for anyone who wants to experience the warm, laid back, and outgoing nature that characterizes Palestinians. It is perfect for the traveler who wishes to avoid tourist traps and areas overrun by wealthy vacationers. Security is not at all an issue unless you fear diversity and authenticity. The staff, who I now consider friends, were unbelievably helpful and friendly. They made me feel right at home. This will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable elements of my trip.
HI - Jerusalem - Beit Shmuel Hostel in Jerusalem … I stayed in Beit Shmuel for five days when I traveled to Israel with my class from school. This was the only hostel we stayed in, as we stayed in four-star hotels for the remainder of our trip. I can easily say that Beit Shmuel was my favorite place to stay, and the view from it is spectacular at night. I would recommend this as a place to stay for anyone travelling to this beautiful city.
Jaffa Gate Hostel in Jerusalem … I can honestly say it's one of the best hostels I've stayed at -- it's very clean, the rooms are great, and the location was very nice. I highly recommend this hostel.
Saint Mark's Lutheran Hospice in Jerusalem … The Lutheran Hostel in Jerusalem was one of my favorite places to stay in all of Israel. Located within the walls of the old city, it is quite an experience and the view was magnificent! The hostel is within walking distance of the temple mount and the western wall. The help was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.
Hebron Hostel in Jerusalem … I visited this hostel back in 1996/97 and it was superb. It had a great bar/lounge/dining area, which made fabulous food including pancakes and chicken curry. The showers were hot and clean, the beds were clean and the location is excellent. However, as I said, this rating is from almost ten years ago!
Jaffa Gate Hostel in Jerusalem … This is an excellent hostel. Everyone uses the lounge. The family who owns the place is great, Best location. I've tried a few hostels in Jerusalem but Jaffa Gate Hostel is the best over all, everything was excellent, Loved this place!
