Hong Kong … I learned several things on my trip here. The subway goes all the way to the China border. You can take it from Kowloon (Mong Kok) station for 6.50 HKD. After you cross the border, The Shenzhen train is almost right there. If you go to the Peak, the tram costs 33 HKD RT. You can take a bus much cheaper. If you want to walk, the walk is gorgeous!

Apple Hostel in Hong Kong … it is very nice and clean. the rooms are little small but manageable. the staff are very helpful and very friendly, especially with children. i will stay there if i come to hong kong next.
Hong Kong Downtown Backpackers in Yau Tsim Mong District … For the price and location the place is excellent value for money, for what is essentially a safe place to stay without the frills and ridiculous hotel prices there isn't much you could really ask for. One thing I loved is that it is on the third floor which basically means it is the first stop on the elevator and if you cant be bothered waiting there is always the crafty side exit with the stairs therefore you can get in and out quickly unlike most of the other hostels that seem to be on higher floors. The location is fantastic as directly in front of the building is the Tim Sha Tui MTR and bus stops all around plus you can get KCR east rail from there too, so you can get to places like mong kok really quickly. I had twin en-suite bath room I shared with friend, it was clean, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was the same. Dragon Inn / Ah Shan Hostel in Yau Tsim Mong District … This place has a very nice owner. The rooms are small but very clean, and the location is very good. It's easy to find. The Internet here is free, and so are local phone calls.

Everyone was very friendly. Great location, near food and shopping, and metro. Will be staying there again this year

Hong Kong Budget Hostel in Yau Tsim Mong District … I stayed in the Hong Kong Budget Hostel in May 2005. This is a very good hostel to stay in. It is very clean, and Jacky Chan, who operates the hostel, is very friendly and was very helpful to me in understanding Hong Kong. I plan to return to Hong Kong for New Year's 2005-2006 and I plan to stay at the Hong Kong Budget Hostel.
Dragon Hostel Hong Kong in Yau Tsim Mong District … Excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room spotless with good AC. Communal kitchen area with fridge, microwave, hot/cold drinking water. Would highly recommend Dragon Hostel if you want somewhere cheap and central to stay.
Dragon Hostel Hong Kong in Yau Tsim Mong District … Dragon hostel is very nice to stay, very near to all shopping and sightseeing area in Kowloon, Hong Kong. street markets, MTR is very near -- I think less than five minutes' walking distance. And you have also a friendly staff like Roque, who is very helpful to us about the routes of buses and MTR and he knows to speak tagalog. This place is everything you would need if on a budget holiday. Our family room is small but it's clean (We are five adults, one child). If you are planning for a cheap vacation, this is a right place for you.
Dragon Hostel Hong Kong in Yau Tsim Mong District … the five of us were really glad to find a hostel that could cram all of us in one room and we were really lucky to find such a gem of a hostel. the room is minuscule but it was en-suite and it's a small price for such excellent service and location. It was heavenly to come back to a clean room with well made beds after a long day around hong kong. Two thumbs up!
