HI - Tønder Hostel - Danhostel Toender Vandrerhjem in Tønder … Facilities: The rooms are very clean, as are the bathrooms (as far as we can tell each room has their own bathrooms). There is also (expensive) internet access, free laundry facilities, and a well equipped kitchen. There are some TV and common rooms, and drink vending machines. It is a bit disappointing that you have to pay for tea and instant coffee since a lot of places offer this for free.
Location: It is a bit of a hike from the main train station carrying big heavy bags, but it is a pretty easy walk back into the centre of town. It is right across the road from the bus stop which is very handy.
Atmosphere/Stuff to do: Though it was a clean and comfortable hostel, this is not a party or fun hostel. It is aimed towards families and older people (we were certainly the youngest people there, and it showed in the way we were generally treated by the staff).
