YH Krk Hostel in Island of Krk … what a nice building and what a great garden -- but in autumn when I visited Krk (october), my friend and me were the only guests. the rooms were nice and cosy at daytime but the night gave away how cold they wer -- no heating, only thin blankets and the windows and doors didn't close properly. it was freezing cold and the same for the restaurant -- breakfast with jumper, jacket, scarf -- just so cold those rooms. in summer all this must be beautiful, some rooms have sweet little balconies. I think it was just not the right time to visit Krk.
