Limón is an incredible place, I love it! Great beaches and cool people. If you are going back to San José, don't even think to eat or spend time in Burger King of Guápiles. The worst of the worst in the world.
Limón … I've traveled the world and Limon has to be my best find. The people and their hospitality blew my mind. Making plans to return and and stay awhile.

Rocking J's in Puerto Viejo de Limón … This is the best place in Puerto Viejo. I went for a week and ended up staying for two weeks. The owner JJ and the staff were the nicest people I have met at a hostel. The layout of Rocking J's is the best in Costa Rica. The next time I am in Costa Rica I will stay there again.

It is located right on the beach and is within walking distance of the center of town. The next time I'm in Puerto Viejo I will stay here again.
