Limón … I've traveled the world and Limon has to be my best find. The people and their hospitality blew my mind. Making plans to return and and stay awhile.
Limón is an incredible place, I love it! Great beaches and cool people. If you are going back to San José, don't even think to eat or spend time in Burger King of Guápiles. The worst of the worst in the world.
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca … Puerto Viejo is a fun little Caribbean town with plenty of places to stay, eat, shop. Beaches are nicer if you continue on to the south. It's an easy half-hour trip by bus to Manzanillo. See the sloths and other wildlife.
