HI - Luoyang - Luoyang Mingyuan Hostel in Luoyang … The staff were rude, the prices were more expensive than advertised, my bathroom was flooded because the drain was on the upward slant of the floor, and the staff's recommendations were bad. We were told that they had a bus for 30 yuan that went to the Shaolin temple and that it was about the same price as public transport, so we went. The bus stopped at eight different places and the driver expected us to pay entry fees at every location. And when we finally got to the Shaolin temple we only had two hours to spend there. It was my worst experience in China.
