São Paulo Comments
São Paulo … If you can arrange a walking tour, take it. If not, try to visit the Edificio Banespa. It is the tallest building in Sao Paulo and will give you an excellent view of the city.
Ubatuba is the best beach city in São Paulo state and still not crowded with tourists. There I could find more than lots of amazing beaches and waterfalls.
This place is amazing -- one of the best places that I have been so far. I was going from Sao Paulo to Rio and decided to stop for one night in Ubatuba, and I stayed six. I recommend it to everybody who loves nature and surf.
Ubatuba is a paradise -- diving, snorkeling, pristine beaches, good restaurants, and hotels! It's close to Rio and Sao Paulo. You must visit it!
If you want to enjoy a safe and beautiful place with all the basic commodities, you should visit Ubatuba.
São Lourenço da Serra … Visited there the weekend of Dec 10th. What a lovely place....I truly fell in love with it. People were very nice...and the whole experience was unforgettable. I certainly intend to return.
Oca Hostel in São Paulo … My stay was amazing last September and October! The family who own it are amazing people because they are young and make you feel as though you have known them for a while. This was actually the first hostel I had ever stayed in because normally with my family we spend our nights while traveling in hotels, so I am thankful for finding this hostel in Ana Rosa. When you spend the night(s) at this hostel you are getting a great deal, but you are able to feel comfortable and safe.
HI - São Paulo - Praça Da Arvore Hostel in São Paulo … This place has some of the greatest people that you will ever meet in the world!
Sampa Hostel in São Paulo … awesome.
HI - São Paulo - Praça Da Arvore Hostel in São Paulo … I was there in Sao Paulo one year ago - and I had a very good time there! So just go for it and enjoy Brasil.
HI - São Paulo - São Paulo Hostel in São Paulo … The staff at the hostel are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean but the beds are old and not very supportive. The bathrooms are large and clean, but there is only one toilet and shower for everyone in the room. There is an elevator, which is handy if you are staying on the 6th floor. The breakfast is good. There is a nice lounge with a comfortable couch and big TV. If you have a chance, take the walking tour that the hostel offers. It is run by a travel company and the staff there are very friendly and informative.
HI - São Paulo - São Paulo Hostel in São Paulo … Good hostel located in the Centro area of Sao Paulo. The staff are friendly and speak English and Spanish. The rooms are clean with air-conditioning. The bathrooms are big and spacious but I did not like the fact that only one person could use it at a time. There is a good walking tour offered by the hostel that I suggest you take. Good breakfast. It's not far from Praca Republica. There are a lot of restaurants and street bars in the area.
HI - São Paulo - Praça Da Arvore Hostel in São Paulo … Great place. Ok surroundings. You got to walk from Metro station. People very helpful.
Ace Bed & Breakfast in São Paulo … I stayed here and was less than impressed. The apparently friendly owners were never seen, although the staff that we spoke to were friendly. The hostel is miles from the center of Sao Paulo in an area where nothing of interest appears to be around. However, there is a fantastic churrascaria close by near the shopping center. The rooms are dingy and the bathroom made me feel sick. There was no atmosphere in this hostel.
