Córdoba … Cordoba is beautiful, beautiful city -- and the great mosque of Cordoba is breathtaking. It was such a beautiful place it made us want to cry.
Morada Hostel in Córdoba … My experience at the Morada Hostel was excellent. It is a very laid-back, refurbished house with a nice patio area. The owners are new to the hostel business and were very enthusiastic about sharing their city. I would highly recommend this hostel, as it is just a nice relaxed and warm place to spend some time.

Baluch Backpackers Hostel in Córdoba … The best hostel I've been in yet! I'm traveling for six months in South America and I never felt at home like in the Baluch Backpackers, what can I say? The house in which it is located is just beautiful, a mix between an old house and all of the newest facilities, the location couldn't be better -- on the walking street! And the atmosphere -- every night sitting by the bar and the pool, listening to great music and drinking a beer, or having an asado with people all over the world and the great staff.
Carlos Paz Hostel in Villa Carlos Paz … Perfect hostel -- brand new, very high level everthing, very beautiful everything, very nice views, very nice roof terrace, absolutely friendly owners and staff. For sure one of the best hostels in Argentina.
The town of Carlos Paz itself its nothing special, but you can have a very relaxed stay at this hostel, and explore in some nice daytrips the beautiful nature of the Sierra de Cordoba around Carlos Paz.
El Refugio International Hostel in Córdoba … Top class!!! It feels you're like staying with a family in South America. The owner and the family have been really helpful. There was "asado," beer, and guitar music every night. Try this hostel if Cordoba is one of your stops in Argentina.
La Casona Hostel in Córdoba … The four nights we stayed in this hostel, was one of the highlights of our trip, firstly the warm welcome we received at 7:30 in the morning, secondly his willingness to give us information about where to go, what to do, just the over all atmosphere you feel at home, i will never forget them. When we return to Argentina i will make a point of staying in La casona, words cant describe how i feel about this hostel. He also has the best barbecue in Argentina!
Locomotion Pop Hostel in Córdoba … I stayed recently with Enzo and Bruno for a few nights in late November 2004. It was one short week after they had opened.
I initially met Enzo at the bus terminal, and though I was only passing through on my way to points elsewhere Enzo took the time to show me to the mini-bus part of the terminal for outlying areas. So on my return to Cordoba I looked up the Locomotion. Enzo and Bruno are the proprietors, and both are fun loving people.
The rooms were clean, bright, and cheerful, to be expected in such a new establishment. The rooftop deck was a great place to congregate and barbecue, which the owners, the other travelers, and local friends all did.
They arranged for day excursions for those who wanted them, and even asked if we (the travelers) would like to partake if they were to stay late and were preparing food.
Overall, this is a great place to hang up one's boots for a spell. I met some memorable people at the Locomotion, some of whom I met later in Buenos Aires…
HI - Córdoba - Córdoba Backpacker's Hostel in Córdoba … I loved this place. The staff are so friendly, and this time not because its good for business -- they really are that nice! It's family run, and there's free internet and a newly extended common room with pool table, meaning you can hang out in the evenings and meet people or have a relaxed few drinks before heading on to the nightlife. Great central location and really good value for money. Possibly not enough bathrooms for a full house, but nice and clean anyway. If you arrive early on an overnight bus look out for the hostel staff handing out fliers -- you'll probably get a free lift to the hostel.
Peperina 4 Beds Hostel in Córdoba … This was really a nice place to stay! The staff are nice and helpful and you feel very welcome. It is a good place to meet other travelers too. I really recommend it!
Tango Hostel in Córdoba … Well, I reserved a room here yesterday. I went in person to book it. Today, when I got here with all my stuff, ready to move in, I was told they did not have any rooms available. Okay, I can understand the human mistake, but can't you see that this is causing me a lot of trouble? Not only did the staff not help me find a place to stay for the night, they didn't show any sort of interest in understanding why the mix-up happened. Anyway, I have now found a place, and that is all that matters. Tango Hostel seems cool, but in fact it is not so great. The staff have absolutely no clue on how to deal with people. This is my opinion, anyway. Enjoy Cordoba.
Hostel Jóven Córdoba in Córdoba … The owner of the hostel is a wonderful person but he certainly needs to invest in this hostel. Is not environmentally friendly. The wastewater system seems to be rotten and water is leaking in the sink. There are cockroaches almost everywhere in the hostel -- such a shame. we liked Victtor, he is a very cool guy but we couldn't stay there for another day because it was too dirty. The people there were cool too.
