Hostelz.com Guest Reviews

Interesting place. We showed up around 9 p.m. on the night we stayed, and no one was at the front desk. Someone called the "manager" and he showed up to give us a room. Originally we were freaked out because all we had seen were young teenagers and kids. We figured our room would be in all that. Luckily it wasn't, but we were put into a room with what was essentially one massive bunk bed that slept eight people (each on single mattresses, but nothing separating them). It was more than a little odd to wake up right next to somebody I had never seen before. Don't know if all the rooms were this way, but it wasn't quite an ideal situation for a comfortable night of sleep.
They had asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, so we assumed it was included in the price, but it wasn't. When we were trying to pay and check out in the morning, no one was at the front desk. Finally we found the same guy who had checked us in 12 hours before and he had no recollection of it. They fumbled around through some forms for about 15 minutes and finally just took our money and let us leave. In hindsight, we should have saved everyone the trouble and left without paying. — Ed (2005-08-15)
