Inconvenient location by bus its easy to get to from the St Raphael train station, but getting back was my problem. I had a really hard time getting around because it was far from the train station. it was really inconvenient that the place locks you out til 5 pm. most hostels if you have to be out, you can at least get to reception, maybe leave your backpack or something, but this place literally has a gate that keeps you from getting in. I was about to just throw my backpack over the fence, but i ended up just keeping it with me which was a bad idea because getting back to St. Raphael was much more difficult than I had thought. the next morning i just got a ride to the st raphael station from a roommate who had her own car. the place is a bit old, but has a large bathroom with lots of showers toilets and sinks. nice that there was breakfast. the bus comes straight to the hostel and picks people up at 9 am, which is nice because the hostel is up a long road from any access to the bus otherwise. don't plan on using the computer here, you CAN but its old and inconvenient, and you have to pay. besides the inconvenient transport and my lack of luck, the hostel itself was ok. large and nice open area. but i just can't get past the literal lockout and hard access. so basically, if you've got a car you're just fine, but otherwise make sure you have your transport figured out. — Anna , United States (2010-07-06)
