4  I visited this hostel mid August 2005. There were relatively many visitors, but I never got the impression that it got too crowded. And everything was really clean most of the time. The showers could do with a bit of refurbishing and the groups did get a bit noisy, but don't forget that this is a hostel and not a hotel. In the evening they seem a bit understaffed. There was only one person having to divide her attention between reception, the bar and most of the other hosting tasks. Nevertheless, this hostel made a very good impression on me. If you are traveling alone and want to make some new friends, than this is a perfect place. The bar and the courtyard are very inviting and you easily get to talk with the other visitors. And the staff? Once you got to talk to them, they turned out to be really friendly. If the hosts would allow guests use of the kitchen I would have given it an extra star.  ()
3  This hostel was ok, but the other guests and I did get the feeling we had overstayed our welcome in the HOUSE of the people who ran it. They were a little strange and very strict — I was told off for trying to wash my own plate.  ()
5  I just really enjoyed this hostel. It is quiet, as Arles is a small town, but there is a bar where you can kick back and enjoy a beer. Breakfast was quite good, and the beds were very comfortable. Most directions tell you to take the bus, but you will just be wasting your money, as Arles is small and the sights are only a five-minute walk. Arles is awesome.  ()
1  I stayed there in April 2003. It was packed with noisy (at night also) school groups that made the bathrooms very dirty, like if it was a game! It's quite far from the center by walking. It's one of the worst hostels I stayed at. The only good thing was the very good dinner or breakfast.  ()
4  This is a nice little hostel but a bit off the town square, so you have to do a little five to ten-minute walk every time you want to see something. When I was here, it was late in the season and there were not a lot of people, so it kind of had a dead vibe. But they do have a little bar and hangout area (and a big breakfast room). And in general, the place was clean and had what a "typical" hostel in France has. I didn't dig on Arles too much, but the hostel was okay.  ()
2  I stayed here in 2002. It was one of the oddest places we stayed at. A woman on the staff bossed everyone around, as if we were 5 year-olds. We had a very small four-bed room, and yes, the place is certainly old.  ()
