Ida y Vuelta Camping, Isla Holbox: Unique, fresh and cozy the campground is located at 80 meters distance from the main beach and offers to backpackers the possibility to sleep on hammocks or beds in small wooden cabañas protected with mosquitoes nets as well within tents on the soft sand of the garden. Familiar and cheap it is the perfect spot for people who want to relax and socialize by having all basic comforts such as hot water, electricity and ventilators. Additional to communitarian kitchen, laundry, BBQ grill and toilets, the camping provides also a fully equipped house for rent ideal for families and small groups who desire a bit more of privacy.

Directions: From Cancun (follow signs on the road) take the free highway 180 (called Merida Libre) or Avenida Lopez Portillo direction Merida, keep always on the right also when the road separates . At El Ideal turn right to Holbox, direction Kantunilkin, till you arrive in Chiquila', where the road ends. There take the ferry that will bring you on the other side of the Yalahau lagoon. Once on Holbox follow the yellow road showed on the map.

Its the cheapest hostel with definitely the best location on isla holbox. The staff is very friendly, they speak many languages to serve their international guests more than well!!!!! The place is not the problem it is the owners. They are shrewd money hungry business people. My booking was not accepted through this site, so I arrived to have to find a place in a Posada with other people. The promises then made with the booking of the Whale Shark tour of time to start and some made to other rediculous. They were 1hr and 15mins late.
