Happy Hostel is located in Kralja MIlutina Street at the corner of Nemanjina Street on the Slavija square which is the absolute cultural nucleus of Belgrade. Museums, movie theaters, shopping malls, cafés, bars and clubs are either within walking distance or just a couple of bus stops away. We are located in the city centre, the area is safe and our rooms are quiet.

In the immediate vicinity: the City parking lot, banks, supermarkets, buses, tramways and trolleybuses which takes you to all parts of Belgrade. You are also close to best night clubs Mr. Stefan Brown, Sweet, Teatro... Nearby you will also find all kinds of restaurants (Serbian, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, sea food...).

Location	If you arrive by train, it will be very easy for you to find your way. Leaving the station through the main exit, you shall see a wide and spacious street (Nemanjina Street) with a gentle rise, leading directly to the Happy Hostel. Walk on the right side of it. It is a fifth horizontal street in which you make a right turn and there will be only 10 meters to the entrance of the building (street Kralja Milutina number 28) in which our hostel is located. It is an 800 meters walk from the station to the hostel. If you do not feel like walking or you have too much luggage to carry, you have two options. The first one is to take a taxi, be sure to get a taxi on the street, because many illegal taxi drivers are waiting at the railway station, charging much more than regular prices. The other option is to take a tramway or a bus – tramways number 2, 9, or 12 and buses 78 or 83 (all will take you to Slavija Square). It is only one stop drive with a tramway or two with a bus. The tramway stop is in front of the hostel street (go little back and the street is on the right), while the bus stop is about 10 meters down the street (go forward and on the first street make a right turn). If you travel by bus, you should take the same directions; expect that you arrive on the bus terminal, which is located just beside the railway station. Follow the same directions as above. If you arrive to Belgrade by plane, you have the regular bus line of JAT (the Serbian airline company), whose departure point is in front of the airport building. The JAT bus terminal is in the center of Belgrade, on Slavija Square, close to our hostel street. If you go down on the main (Nemanjina) street after you pass Mc-Donald’s you should make a first left turn and you will be in front of Happy Hostel. The other possibility is to take a taxi, but you should be very careful with the taxi drivers at the airport (recommendation: if you call +381119801 you can get a taxi company which is offering a special price for driving you from the airport to any town destination - only 10 Euros). Very happy, friendly & helpful... free wireless and shops (market/takeaway) nearby as well as currency exchange... Would definitley go there again... Had air-conditioning as advertised but the gentleman working there asked me to tell him when i had enough of it so he could turn it off in which i did not want it off as it was hot but felt obligated to.
