3 Nice rooms, a little far out, lacking amenities
This is a nice little hostel that requires a fair walk (twenty minutes) along the aqueduct to get into the downtown. We had a private room, sharing the bath. There were only a couple of other people there our two days. The front desk is open in the morning and evening only. There is a full-time caretaker on staff, but it was a little like staying in your grandmother's house. The kitchen was locked and I felt like an intruder if I wanted to use it. Also, there is Wi-Fi but the wireless router stopped responding and the guy manning the desk didn't seem at all motivated to get it working. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay but I'm writing this review on the street after finding an unsecured connection. Oh, there is no air conditioning and the plastic-covered courtyard works like a greenhouse to trap the hot air which made sleeping difficult the first night (no rain) despite a ceiling fan in the corner of the room.
