Description
Tropic of Capricorn is a new resort located on the beach at Nadi Bay, ten minutes drive from Nadi International Airport and Nadi town. We have oceanfront rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors with stunning views over the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands. The rooms are huge with balconies and stunning marble bathrooms with elegant European fittings. In fact all rooms at the beach side resort have great water views.
We also have rooms at our separate wing,the apartments, a grand two storey mansion with all marble floors and bathrooms. Guests staying here are welcome to use the pool and all other facilities at the beach front.
In fact, breakfast which is included in all rates, is served in our beach front restaurant which has an absolute waterfront view of the bay. Our dormitory is extremely large and also features both a Ladies and Gents bathroom, both with marble and elegant fittings.
The resort has a Travel Center for all bookings for onward island accommodation, transfers and tours and cruises. We have an outdoor swimming pool and bar and big screen TV. Daily happy hours from 5pm to 7pm.

Mamas Tropic of Capricorn sole Agent is Sun Vacation Tours which Located in the Loading Zone. One of their Reps will be waiting for you when you arrive and direct you to their office where you will wait for our Transfer to come and pick you up.

Mamas was great. Stayed here the night before and after our stay on the Yasawas. They are quite humble hosts and you must try their dinner menu. They dont advertise themselves that well but the food was delicious. A great experience here.

We had a great stay at Mamas and returned three times during our month stay in Fiji. Each time it felt like we were arriving at a friend's place. It is a great base to start your trip in Fiji. Mama and her staff are very kind, welcoming,helpful and informative. They really helped us plan our trip and just want everyone to have a good time.
Mama was the nicest person we met in Fiji. If any guest has a problem or bad experience whilst in Fiji, Mama can be relied on to sort it out.

It's right on the beach,although the beach area was not taken care of. Broken chairs etc.
It's the cheapest place around with beach acces, although horizon hostel next door is cheaper and you can use all facilities at the nice smugglers backpackers (incl breakfast)

Very friendly staff, Mama and Zelda are two really lovely Mamas!! Zelda booked us a perfect trip to the Yasawa Islands for 7 nights! Everything worked well and we really enjoyed our stay there! When we came back form the islands we felt like coming back home! The own Taxi Service and Don the Taxi driver gave us some good tipps when we went to town. The Airport pick up and the drop off by taxi was also great! Thanks

It was right by the beach, it has free internet ( although the signal is not very strong in the bar area), free kayaking and a few organised activities (snorkelling trip, hike to a waterfall, volleyball).

Spend two nights there before heading off to the islands (double w bathroom): Zelda organized our trip to the Yasawas perfectly (check prices and ask for discount). Rooms are new and very clean (main house) and there is a happy hour bar downstairs :) - during our 10 days stay at the Yasawas we left part of our luggage there (we came back for our last night and it was there where we left it). Look out for vouchers for free airport drop-off.

Very good location near to the airport, free airport pick up and very friendly staff. Everybody learns your name straight away and makes sure you are comfortable which does make you feel at ease. Good position right on the beach and the price is great.
