4   Staff is really helpful The staff is helpful. Location is very good. Near bus stop, beach, and supermarket, everything is convenient.  ()
2  Stayed here since the YH was full and it was the only other place I could find offering dorm accommodations. Well, the dorm was a converted basement apartment that was mouldy and dirty. I think it was last cleaned in the 1970s. We tried to get the owner to give us some cleaning supplies and garbage bags so we could at least empty the overflowing trash, but the owner was impossible to find since unless he had a confirmed booking arriving, he was at his restaurant across the penninsula. The apartment had a TV room and couches, but the kitchen had a fridge and nothing else, so though the supermarket was convenient, there was no way to actually cook any food. The "en-suite bathroom" was in the hall and shared with another room, and the door handle was broken so it was easy to accidentally get locked in. To get to the old town, you have to take a bus from around the corner. Lapad is okay for the beach but is pricey for food and stuff to do. Would not recommend staying here -- it's pricey and you can probably do better by just showing up at the ports and negotiating with the people advertising accommodation.  ()
