4 Great hospitality and great rooms
My son and I were well looked after by Bing and Shim. We stayed twice -- as we arrived in and left the Philippines. The cooked meals provided were very tasty. Every help was given when we needed directions and advice and even before we arrived via email! If you need somewhere to stay relatively close to the airport or bus station I would thoroughly recommend it.

5 Super relaxing place to sleep on the cheap!
This hostel is one of the best I've stayed in. Located in the heart of Paranaque, it's about an hour by jeepny or forty-five minutes by taxi from the tourist areas of Metro Manila, depending on traffic. By taxi only about ten minutes from the Ninoy Aquino airport. The proprietors keep the place very tidy, the rooms are spacious and cool (even the dorm!), and anything you need or want is taken care of twenty-four hours a day. A two-minute walk from street food vendors and a mini-stop convenience store, it's surprisingly calm and relatively quiet inside the hostel grounds, which are locked to outsiders at all times. You can come and go as you please, they will open the gate to let you through whenever you need. Hammocks in the "chill area" with fridges for a great variety of drinks (including cheap beer!), delicious and inexpensive breakfast in the morning and fresh fruit from the trees if you like. The best thing about this place is the people who operate it. Bing is always cheerful and loves to laugh, and is a wealth of information about the area. She will give you all kinds of tips to travel and eat around town as cheap as is possible, and she's got plenty of entertaining stories as well. Shim is also very friendly and fun to talk to, and together these folks make a stay here very relaxing. I'm definitely spending more time in this place whenever I pass through.

5 Nice staff
There are only Mr. and Mrs. in this guesthouse. They are very friendly, and you'll feel relaxed and safe like you are at home. They know where to go in the Philippines and are happy to tell you tips to enjoy the places, but not like one of those guesthouses who are pushy to make you join their sightseeing tours. The rooms are kept clean all the time and big enough to have your private spaces even in the dorm. The location is great, too! Just one ride on the Jeepny from the airport. I have stayed many guesthouses in the world, but I really recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to enjoy Manila!
