Excellent staff. Helpful with directions and transportation.
Delicious tea and your basic breakfast in the morning.
Bathrooms are subpar but for a night or two it's not a problem.
Definitely worth the 4 JD per night.

Center of town. SUPER cheap.
The owner was amazingly nice and useful.
Other guests were interesting but not intrusive.

Staff is very, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tired, needs some major cleaning, especially the inadequate toilets. The whole hotel is in need of a total scrubbing and painting. Dorm rooms are very crowded with nowhere to put luggage and clothes.

I really loved the mansour, Ali is great, and there is a really cheerful atmosphere about the place. It's really good value and in a great spot in town.

Good place, clean and safe. Good to meet other travelers in the communal area. Free breakfast is good, as is free tea all day. Be careful if arriving early in the morning as we did (5am) as he tried to charge us for an extra night without informing us about it first.

Louis....the hotel manager is one of the friendliest and most helpful people I have met. He made the experience at the hotel great and helped me save a lot of money on taxis, transportation, etc.

Louie is awesome, but the manager is a complete prick. He kicked two guests out while we were staying there for an inadequate reason.
Beware of the manager saying your tour is "cancelled" after which he then tries to take you on his own.
He also got very angry at a guest for messing up the covering on a couch and just started screaming in Arabic.
Otherwise it is a very nice place for the money, but the manager really needs to get his act together and be more polite.

For the price it was great, clean. Though the staff didn't seem to know much about the city and the beds weren't very comfortable.

It's really a nice place to stay in Amman. There are some friendly and obliging people working in the hostel and you will get there a lot of tea, coffee and - last but not least - a lot of entertainment by the staff.
