Clean, friendly, bright areas, one of the best I´ve stayed in I heard about this hostel from three people I met traveling, who all said it was great. when I walked in, the owner was so friendly and gave me a very warm welcome! It is bright pink on the outside, has open clean spaces on the inside, and is well lit. The showers are great -- tiled and nice. the bathrooms upstairs are for women and downstairs for men. You can get a private room or a dorm. The location is great too -- it's north of Sete de Setembro, so it's safe (near pensao sulista and hotel ideal -- it's no longer safe) and it's near the theater and skina dos sucos, which I love. — Amy Reid , Americana (2007-10-06)
