A Transcendant Experience I have stayed in over a thousand hostels all over the world and this provided some of the most memorable experiences. My wife and I went there twice, three years apart, and would love to go a third time. Les Iles-de-la-Madeleine are a beautiful, unspoiled group of islands north of Prince Edward Island. The hostel is located right by the ocean in a glorious state park. The facilities are superb and very modern. A ten-minute walk away is "Le Factory," a fish processing plant that also has a dining room. Talk about French seafood prepared in the French style! The islands get very few non-French tourists so you are really something of an oddity. What a way to go! — Tom in Chicago , USA (2008-12-23)
