Clean, relaxed, and friendly home away from home vibe A'breakaway might not be in the heart of the Cape Town CBD, but its only half an hour away. It is however close to many of other Cape Towns main attractions -- Cape Point, Boulders beach (for the amazing penguins), Muizenberg beach (where I learnt how to surf!), Simonstown (South African Navy base), and Kalk Bay which has the most gorgeous little antique shops, bars, world class resturants and stunning little boutique type shops. best ice cream shop ever there too! Its easy to hop on and off the train between Muizenberg where Abreakaway is situated and Kalk Bay. — Liz , UK (2009-08-13) Quiet, boring, far out of town, unreliable owner It's a clean and quiet place in a boring suburb far out of town, much farther out of town then the owner led me to believe. In fact, she, her name being Monday, lied to my face about how far out of town it really is. A ride to the airport cost 200 rand and takes at least forty minutes to an hour.
