Alajuela Campground & Hostel

I just returned from a three-month stay at Alajuela Campground Hostel. The hostel was approximately fifteen minutes away from San Jose and five minutes away from the International airport. If you are passing through and want to save a few dollars, try this hostel.The atmosphere is laid back and the owner Stephan knows a lot about the country. The hostel was always clean and the kitchen was always open. My room had its own bathroom with hot shower. Sometimes on Sunday mornings I joined the soccer games that were played at the hostel's own soccer field.
