** We have a 2 night minimum on all dates. Please make sure you book a minimum of 2 nights or we cannot accept your reservation. The dates between Dec. 29 and Jan 2 included, we have a 4 night minimum where you must book 4 consecutive dates or we cannot accept your reservation.

**All Reservations will be pre authorized 7 days prior to the reservations check in date with the CC used to hold the reservation. 3 Days prior to the arrival date, the Authorization will be charged the full amount of the reservation to ensure the CC is valid for your stay. Your receipt will be signed at check in. If you wish to prepay via bank transfer, we have that option as well We look forward to welcoming you.
**We want to be a place away from home for travellers of all ages with a low budget. The staff at the AWA Amsterdam Youth Hostel Inn will do everything to create a relaxed atmosphere.
We will email you a confirmation within 12 hours of booking with directions, web site, etc. IVA of 5% is not included here and is due at check in.
Check-in is possible from 18.00 hours (6pm). It is not possible to arrive before 18.00 hours (6 pm), then we are closed and not available. If you arrive earlier in Amsterdam it could be practical to store your luggage at the central station. Check-out is till 14.00 hours (2pm).
Please be aware, any reservation with an amount over 1000 Euros, will be subject to a 30 day cancellation policy. No changes or cancellations can be made within 30 days of the arrival date. Thank you for understanding

BED BUGS!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We awoke at 6am with bed bugs crawling all over us. We had no hot water, no light in our ensuite and the hostel was very dirty. Over priced for what it was. Shit location. Worst hostel i have ever stayed in.

I had booked this establishment for my neice from australia however I had not checked reviews before doing so and based on these reviews I did not allow my neice to even stay. I think this hostel should be put under close scrutiny and if you had anything about you, a refund should be given.

Surprisingly good hostel compared to earlier hostels I have stayed in.
We had booked a room with out WC but when arriving there were both shower and WC! Very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
I could stay there again!
