For groups not solo travelers I stayed here with friends in Aug 2009. It is very central, 2 minutes walk from Deák Ferenc tér Metro. There are several cool bars and restaurants in the area and at least two 24 hour supermarkets on the same street. It's also right in the centre of the city so all the attractions of Buda and Pest are within easy reach. The security is excellent with key code entry on the street, again at the hostel entrance on the 5th floor and again on each of the rooms. There is a kitchen for guests to use with free tea / coffee. There is a common lounge area with 2 internet terminals and free wi-fi throughout. This is not a particularly sociable hostel as all guests are in groups. I never saw anyone else in the common room. The beds at this hostel are all sold by the room, you can't just book a bed for one person unless you pay for the whole room. 7x24 is also very clean throughout. I have only 2 small complaints. The en-suite bathroom was tiny, it was like showering and using the toilet in a cupboard! The curtains were also as thin as paper, which meant it was impossible to get any sleep during daylight, not good in a party city like Budapest! — Martin , UK (2009-08-24)
