• To get to the Western Citypoint Apartments we recommend you use the following directions.
• Check in for the apartments is at The Western Hotel, 33 Prospect Hill, Galway City Centre. Arriving from any direction, follow the signs to the City Centre and Eyre Square. Once on Eyre Square, take the road exiting the square at the top right-hand corner at Richardson’s Pub. Proceed onwards on the left lane. Pass TK Maxx, Galway City Council building and The Western Hotel and take the first turn left, then left again into St. Bridget’s Place. Our underground car park is on the left, down the ramp. Leave all bags in your car and Reception will give you directions to the car-park for the Citypoint apartments when you check in. A fob is needed to gain access to the private car park in Citypoint.
• By train or bus:
• View Irish Rail website for update timetable of trains to and from Galway
• Galway's train and bus stations are located in the city centre adjacent to each other, a 3 minute walk from the Western Citypoint Apartments and The Western Hotel.
• 1. On exiting the station take a left heading towards Eyre Square
• 2. Walk to the top of Eyre Square (to the fountain)
• 3. Turn right at the top of the Square, and our hotel is on the left-hand-side on the top of this hill.
• By Plane:
• There are Direct busses to and from Dublin and Shannon airport. Please check buseireann "expressway" for Shannon or Dublin and gobus or citylink for Dublin connections. Ticket from Shannon to Dublin is usually around €10 and Dublin Galway €20 one way.
