The Hostelz.com Review
Ole Backpackers Hostel is a really great place to stay. The location is centrally located and the hostel is really well kept. There is always an employee cleaning some area of the hostel and it shows. They also have a balcony, which is a nice place to sit and relax after a long day touring this wonderful city.

The Location

The location of the hostel is great. It is very centrally located in the city. Within ten minutes you can walk to the cathedral, the plaza, or the river and there are many restaurants close by as well. The metro stop is about a five-minute walk away. The directions provided in the printout are not very well written. Plan to look it up before you leave or be prepared to ask around in the town (most people can help you find this area).

Rooms and Bathrooms

The rooms and bathrooms of this hostel are phenomenal. They are all really nice. You may feel as though you actually are staying at a five-star hotel (aside from the dorm style bedrooms). During our stay there was always an employee cleaning some part of the hostel and it really shows that they care about the appearance. The bathrooms are very nice and you only share with your other roommates. There is no problem with water temperature or pressure during our stay.

The only negative about the hostel is the lack of locks on the doors. Don't be alarmed by this, as there are free lockers in every room for which you get a key upon check-in. Also, the reception desk faces the front door and they can easily spot anyone who doesn't belong.

Common Spaces

The common spaces are a real treat. They have a kitchen that is consistently stocked with toast and spread as well as sausage left over from breakfast. You can also use the kitchen to cook your own meals. They will usually give out juice upon request at any time as well. There is a computer with free internet access and a TV. The porch is a wonderful area to relax and meet with others staying in the hostel. The atmosphere is very relaxed and is geared toward the older travelers but anyone can fit in. They also are willing to let you store your luggage behind the front desk without a charge.

Summary

Overall this is a great hostel and we have no complaints. The general appearance and atmosphere are wonderful, which is a huge plus as it allows you to fully enjoy your stay. The common spaces are among the best of any hostel and they provide all of the basic services you could want. If you are not worried about the price, this hostel is one of the best in Sevilla and you will not regret your stay.
