It was pretty easy to find, and the metro station was really close to it,so it was very easy to move around the city. They had free dinner every now and then for all the hostel, so that made it very easy to meet new people.

The staff is wonderful! They do their job wonderfully and go above and beyond the call of duty. Location is far from the city, but close to the metro and a 15 min journey to all the attractions. They even make free dinner every other day. Francesco and Massimo were very helpful and kind. My favorite thing about the hostel is Massimo's epic beard--THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!

Felt at home in this small hostel. The owners definitely make you feel welcome and if a hostel is what your looking for i would definitely recommend. I had read this was far out but It is only 15 minutes away from the attractions so there was no issue at all.

TwinCities (Rome) is the friendliest, coziest and cleanest hostel I've ever been to. Francesco, his wife, and Massimo go all the way to make you comfortable and informed. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and showers are hot; there is a kitchen and dining room, garden, computer with free internet access, plenty of sockets to charge gadgets, rack for hanging clothes, and lockers. Not to mention the social dinner "every other day", which is a great opportunity to meet other guests! The area is quite nice and the complex is very safe. It is a 5 min walk from Basilica San Paulo Metro station, and it only takes 15 min to get to the Colosseum. TwinCities is the first hostel I've been to where I wouldn't mind staying a lot longer!!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Massimo and Francesco are eager to help you with any questions/problems you may have and on the weekends there is free pasta/pizza! We enjoyed our stay very much and despite the location (a little far from the center) it is a VERY good value.

The staff are incredible, and really go out of their way to help everyone and create a warm, friendly environment. I felt at home staying there. There are lots of bathrooms, and they're always pretty clean. Secure building in a nice area, not far from the metro and with a grocery store and food places nearby. Great value for money.

A great Hostel location near the San Paulo Basilica Metro Station which has quick links to major sites like the Pyramid and Keats' grave in the Protestant graveyard, Colosseum and only 5 stops from the Termini which links to the Line A Metro - this gets you to places like Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and the Vatican. The Hostel staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and well cared for. A highlight was the free pasta supper for everyone in the hostel on the Saturday night. We got to know all the people really well and made some lasting friends. Francesco, his wife and Massimo, who run the hostel were fabulous in their help and advice for travelling. When we visit Rome again, ths will be the place we stay at again!

It was in a great location, not far from the metro station and once on the metro it was only a 5 minute ride to the colosseum. It was always clean and tidy.

People were very nice who worked there, I had dinner made for me one night even! It rained hard on the morning to catch my train and the metro was down so i had to figure bus schedule out and they were understanding and helped me call a taxi (which I wouldn't suggest, taxi service hung up on me twice when i asked for English). It was clean

Very friendly and safe place to stay with a really helpful host! I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights in February. The Host, Francesco, was really helpful and kind, full of great ideas about Rome and Italy. The hostel has a warm and open feeling and I felt safe leaving my door open at all times! The price is good and you get breakfast too! The staff pretty much provided anything we needed at the hostel and answered any questions I asked and some! It was a really enjoyable stay and I would recommend the place to anybody. Francesco is an Ace! — Gwen , Canada (2010-02-15)

Friendly, clean, convenient TwinCities is a great little hostel right on the outskirts of the main attractions in Rome. A short walk to the metro, easy to get to from the airport and to leave to get to city center. Small hostel with very personal touch. Ask Francesco about where to get some great take-away food and deserts! Safe area with grocery and cash machine nearby. Fun stay and happy with the trip! — Courtney , USA (2009-11-20)

Excellent We stayed here for three nights and couldn't have been happier. The owner, Francesco, goes out of his way to make you welcome. A nice restaurant and other shops are within a short walk as is the metro stop. All in all it is a great place with great people running the hostel. — Callan , Australian (2009-03-12)

Wonderful stay in Rome We spent in this hostel three nights and our impression was really good. It's a nice and clean place with a very good location (just a few minutes from the metro stop). There are many restaurants and some grocery stores just a moment away. The hostel has a nice kitchen and a bathroom (it would just be fine to have at least one more). Francesco is a friendly guy. He was very helpful and provided us a with a map. It's great that you get a key and you can come back whenever you want to. — Tereza , Czech Republic (2009-03-01)

Very Good I stayed there for three nights in sept '08. It is clean and you gain the keys to the apartment as soon as you arrive, gives you freedom to do return at the time you want. Near to the subway what was great. Wi-fi free was very cool too. The only but is that the shower is kind of very slow. I recommend. — Renato , Brazil (2008-10-05)

We stayed in this hostel for four nights and it was really great! Francesco is a really nice guy and he ordered pizza for us on "pizza party" night. Hostel was in a good location and was super clean and best of all, super cheap! There's a snazzy shower and a kitchen for guests too, as well as a cheap washing machine. Definitely come back again! — Sarah , England (2008-09-06)

Wonderful Value, Clean, and Comfortable! If you knew friends to stay with in Rome, Italy, you would imagine them to be these (your) hosts at TwinCities! This young couple offers the best value and quality hospitality out of the three hostels I stayed at in Rome in May. I felt welcome, secure, and my needs were taken care of to enjoy Rome. Access to the kitchen facility was great. Cleanliness is a high priority and the heart of tourist Rome is a fifteen-minute metro ride. Laundry is an option, internet, and a patio. Great coffee shop, pizza, and grocery store a moment away. Highly recommended for affordability and friendliness! — Kimberly Dawn , Canada (2008-06-09)

Nice and warm stay in Rome Franseco is a really nice guy who tries everything to help travelers. Hostel itself is more like a friend's home and the sweet couple make it clean and warm and comfortable. It is highly recommended for people who want to know more about Rome or just a night of stay there. — Davy , Hong Kong (2008-04-10)

Fun, friendly, quiet and comfortable Francesco runs this very affordable, quiet and clean hostel. It's conveniently located to a metro stop with access to all of Rome. Francesco is a very friendly guy who aims to please (in fact, the place seems to attract lots of friendly guests as well). He gave us an orientation of Rome with a map upon our arrival. Twin Cities has internet access and a full kitchen. The best surprise was that, on our third evening, Francesco made us and the other guests a terrific pasta dinner (which we enjoyed with some excellent, affordable bottles of Chianti that we bought from a small shop down the street). Highly recommended! — Ted Levy and Dale Ann Stieber , USA (2008-01-20)

Best place to stay in Rome at affordable price This place would come familiar to everyone that pases over its doorsteps. Everything you will need. Wonderful host that will take care just you don't have to miss anything ranging from tourist informations, book guides, internet PC, wireless, balcony, kitchen. You can call for ride from the airport for a reasonable price, also. That would be almost twice train ticket price from Fiumicino Airport of Rome to Termini Station. But, consider you can put all your luggages into the trunk of a car and step out info the hostel without other worry. — Nicola Moanta , Romania (2007-10-13)

This was a great place to stay -- friendly, clean, centrally located If one is looking for value, cleanliness, friendliness, and general comfort, then make this hostel part of your stay in Rome. This hostel is operated by a young couple that tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It is located very close, but not too close to the Metro making all of what Rome has to offer within a fifteen-minute journey. I would highly recommend this Hostel. Thanks again for everything Francesco. — Bart , Canadian (2007-09-18)

Best one so far. This hostel is owned by a very sweet couple that make you feel like you are staying in the house of a very close friend. The place is beyond clean and environment is very peaceful however you can still go to down town in fifteen minutes by metro. Fair prices for beds, laundry, internet and very friendly atmosphere. Shortly if you wanna stay in Rome and leave it with good memories this is the place to stay. — Emin , Turkey (2007-08-22)

This hostel is an apartment that the owners rent out rooms! very small and relaxing. clean, about a fifteen-minute walk from a subway station, owner is extremely nice, unlimited internet, laundry 2 euros. only room for about eight people. very enjoyable! — G.
