The Hostelz.com Review
Cozee is located on the top floor of one of the city's many office blocks, about one hundred meters from one of the busiest roads in the CBD. Surrounded by cheap cafes and all necessary services, the hostel is within easy reach of most things any backpacker could want.

The hostel itself is basic and very small, with only three dorms and a private double room. Two of the dorms are large, whilst the other is an acceptable size. There are two toilets for the whole hostel, one with a cold shower while the other has hot water. There is no kitchen, but there is a dining table, fridge, and kettle. This area also serves as the communal area and the only entertainment is a cd player/radio. There is internet available but it is a dial-up connection, so it's rather slow.

To make up for the size and lack of facilities, the hostel is very clean and breakfast is supplied. The rooms are well decorated and the hostel has a homey feel to it. The owners do not stay on-site -- instead they drop in frequently to check everything is up to standard. They are very friendly and will go out of their way to help, providing excellent local information both within Kuching and Sarawak.

5 As close to home as we have come in a month of traveling
We stayed at Cozee Hostel for five nights in late October-early November 2007. Wesley made a point to meet us at the hostel and spent probably an hour outlining all the travel-tourist options for the area, which made our visit a great success. The hostel is spotless and offers many "extras" including umbrellas to borrow, a place to wash and dry laundry, use of a stereo, a fridge. The hostel is also quite secure as it's on the third floor and has room, front door, and gate locks. I don't know why any traveler would stay elsewhere given this great budget find has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Kuching.
