Bunny’s Pub your Aussie pub and hostel in the heart of the Austrian Tirol and key to this great European Adventure stop! St Johann and the surrounding region have for many years been injected with Australian culture in the form of workers, Australasian tour companies, and the many Austrians who have fulfilled their dream of travelling Australia. With all this in mind the concept of making Bunny’s a real Australian pub was born.



Bunny’s has grown over the years with the large numbers of travellers passing through St Johann. Bunny's now not only serves out a great party but also is your one-stop for organising accommodation, summer and winter adventure activities whilst enjoying your stay in this idyllic Austrian village.



Situated just two doors down from Bunny’s Pub is the very popular accommodation of Pension Bachlweberhof. Better known to us as Annalieses (the enjoyable and entertaining lady of the house) it is situated a couple of hundred metres from the base of the Kitzbuhel Horn, and yet still just a 4-minute walk from the town centre, and to almost everything in St Johann. Annalieses has a mix of twins and doubles to quad rooms with shared facilities plus a couple of good size full facilities with their own kitchen apartments.



St. Johann is a alpine village positioned at the base of the famous Kitzbüheler Horn. It is 10 km from Kitzbuhel, close to Salzburg and Innsbruck and only one and a half hour from Munich. As of the 3rd of December Bunny’s Pub was reopened after renovations. In joining the old bar to what was the restaurant, Bunny's has doubled it's former capacity. For those who have been here before you will know already about Bunny’s unforgettable atmosphere in an unbelievable location.

SUMMER

Summer sees St Johann in Tirol enjoy mainly perfect weather. Enjoy the many adventure activities the region has to offer or just pull up a piece of grass with a stunning view and kick back. This time of year is perfect for going flat out or fully stopped.



Bungy Trampoline

The newest innovation in Trend Sports. It is an experience that everyone can enjoy from the crazy adrenaline junky to those who shy away from any sort of physical activity. With the feel of total weightlessness you can jump up to 9 metres making multiple somersaults.



Canyoning

Wearing a full-length wetsuit, harness and helmet, the perfect outfit for a day exploring your way through steep mountain streams. Abseil, jump, slide and swim your way through the stunning Tyrolean landscape. This half-day adventure offers a unique adventure experience for all.



Enjoy the fascinating world up on HIGH ROPES!

Belayed under the instruction of a guide you will experience your body, find the balance walking on a cable and see everything from high above! The more you practise the more balance you find, starting with the easy going “Wild Woosey” and The “Giant Cable Wheeler” soon you move over to the long “Nepal Bridge” and the “Djungle Ropes” !!

Mountain Biking

Explore the Tyrolean countryside on a guided tour by mountain bikes. A gentle ride through the local area is rewarded with breathtaking mountain views. Local lakes make the perfect stop for lunch and maybe a swim in the crystal clear mountain waters. The return trip gives the thrill seekers the opportunity for a downhill ride and for those not into speed just sit back and enjoy the scenery.



Paragliding

A few steps, a gentle slope and you lift off into another world. Mans oldest dream comes true in the purest and most elegant form of flying. Enjoy a quiet glide through the air or on request, the pilot will give you an acrobatic experience that you will never forget. You can even fly the paraglider yourself.



River Rafting

The “Tiroler Ache” River travels through both the Austrian and German countryside. This is one of the most scenic rafting experiences in Europe! Suitable for the bold and the timid, our River Rafting excursions offer a relaxed way to enjoy the magical local Tyrolean scenery.



Skydiving

Speed and adrenalin, the perfect combination. Accompanied by a qualified skydiving instructor, your tandem skydive takes you up to 12,000ft above the Tyrolean countryside. Enjoy the majestic view during your 30-minute trip up, before the 45-second return freefall. Marvel at the Austrian alps as you slowly make your way back to Mother Earth, sightseeing in a way very few people experience.



Trout Fishing

Fresh trout for dinner? We take you from Bunny’s to a local trout farm. Spend half the day fishing for trout. A number of the fish you catch will be cleaned for you to bring back to Bunny’s. That evening we will cook them over them for you to eat. The day out includes transport (some people cycle out), entry, fishing rod and tackle, cleaning up your catch and cooking them for you to eat.



WINTER

Winter means snow and this means that St Johann with its 65km of ski runs comes alive. Friendly to the skier and snowboarder from beginner to advance St Johann enjoys a great winter reputation.

The winter ski season starts in mid December and finishes in mid April, depending entirely on the snow conditions. The ski area is situated on the St Johann side of the Kitzbuhel Horn and consists of 17 ski lifts, 65km of piste and 28km of groomed piste. Their are approximately 14 bars and restaurants on the mountain.

With a package deal from Bunny’s Pub, you will get airport transfers, accommodation close to the slopes, ski/board and shoe hire, and your lift ticket. There are also many other activities available over the winter period other than skiing that we can help you out with.

Skiing/Snowboarding



Bunny’s Pub offers a range of package deals for both skiing and snowboarding throughout the whole winter season. Traditionally, the packages are either 7 or 14 days, running from a Saturday to Saturday, however if you would like a weekend ski break or would like something different from the norm, please do not hesitate to contact us for a quote.



At Bunny’s Pub, we are very flexible. This is your holiday, therefore, you decide exactly what you’re after and we'll organise it for you. Our packages include accommodation with breakfast, airport transfers from either Salzburg or Munich, lift passes and ski or board hire.

We offer great deals over the Xmas and New Years break, hosting our huge Xmas Lunch party and the famous "Bunny’s B&S" on New Years Eve.
