Description
Beyoglu is the best known area of Istanbul. Your stay is next to the galata tower. The big and for sure the best shopping and nightlife street Istiklal is just a few meters far away. The chillout staff will provide you with all information about nightlife, living and travelling in Istanbul or Turkey.
The Chillout Galata is our second hostel in Beyoglu. We have 15 rooms. with single, double bedrooms and dorms.
You can cook your meals in the kitchen, sit in the living room, drink your drinks, chat with locals or foreigners, and just chill.
The terrace has a beautifull view over Istanbul, the tower, the Sea and the mosques.

Our building is newly renovated. Many artists have painted their pictures on our walls. Colourfull, cozy, friendly is every hostel, but ours you have to love, because we love it.
We want you to be sad when you leave our hostel, because you loved it - and you will.
We do this job not for living, we do it because it's our live;)

Shopping, Bars, Discotheques, Restaurants,... everything is here. • If you like to buy a carpet, go to Sultanahmet. Unprofessional, not that clean ... The best thing about this hostel is its location: less than 50 meters away from istiklal caddesi, the heart of beyoglu. And that's pretty much it. While a lady came to clean everyday, she never got inside the rooms. That'd be nice if it was for extra security, but we didn't get any keys for the "private" room, it was open all the time. I had to put things inside my suitcase and hope for the best. Luckily, nothing happened. The staff was very friendly, but unprofessional: An ad online promised free wi-fi, and there was none. In fact, the very staff was ripping off the hotel in front of them for internet access! When asked about this, they say "tomorrow they'll come and fix it". They didn't. It was very hot, but that was a bit expected, so no problem. The stairs were smelly though, they let a cat sleep in and had cat piss smell one day, spicy food smell the other, and so on. All in all it was a pleasant stay because istanbul is great, but the hostel wasn't that good really.
