Best hostel we ever visited! This is the best Hostel we ever have visited. It is convenient located near a tram stop, (the last stop of several tramlines so you can not make a mistake getting off) and within fifteen minutes we were in the very centre of Zagreb. The staff were superb, friendly, and helpful and the service they provided was excellent! (excellent will not cover it because they are more than excellent).
The hostel was spotlessly clean, from the bathrooms till the rooms all so clean that if you want you can eat from the floors. The prices are very good. My friend Ana also works part-time at the Dutch office of the Croatian National Tourist Office, were she will recommended this hostel to Dutch people who are asking information about accommodation and hostels in Zagreb. In short we really recommend this hostel to all people who are looking for a quiet, friendly, and clean hostel in Zagreb! — Ismael and Ana , Netherlands (2009-05-19) Very bad experience The hostel is clean. However, we were a group of seven people and had a very bad experience with the staff, who charged us 20% more of the official price list, with the explanation that "we have four different prices for different customers." This was extremely unprofessional and totally ruined our initial good impression of the place. I would never recommend a hostel where they have such double standards and basically try to cheat their customers. Very bad experience indeed. — Geko , Europe (2008-08-06) Friendly, clean, all-around great hostel We actually booked at another hostel which accidentally overbooked us, and we were sent here instead. And I'm glad we were! The location was conveniently close to a tram stop which led right into the city center pretty quickly, and the staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the mattresses were the nicest I've ever experienced at a hostel before, and the blankets were also fantastically comfy. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. There was a free internet computer room (with three computers), and the common room was well used and great for meeting people and watching movies.
