3 Nice hostel but psycho owner
The hostel is a lovely place but the owner Evan is crazy. Basic things to know are that the hostel is fifteen-minute walk from town and there are much closer hostels in the area. Secondly, minimum three-night stay which means that if you book initially for more and want to change it to less, you cannot. Also only forty-eight-hour cancellation policy (even thought we booked twelve hours in advance so it didn't exist). None of the above points were mentioned when booking on the phone and handing over credit card details. Good points, Clean tidy hostel and it is comfortable. Bad points, Owner Evan. He doesn't trust his guests so he has to over watch everyone in kitchen/drying with his tea towels. Very opinionated and rude to guests at times. Greedy as he wants everyone to book all activities through him to make his 10% commission and makes out that the i-site in town is very busy and you have to queue. Slagged us off to other guests behind our backs. Talking to other guests in the hostel they also agreed the same as us with this guy. Doesn't agree with people watching TV in his house but has one anyway. There's a huge list. Basically if you can put up with Evan's Analness and his opinions then the hostel is lovely. Slightly small kitchen and only one bathroom on bottom floor to share between six rooms. If you can handle this, then go ahead and book as the views are great!

1 Average conditions -- Very unfriendly owner
I stayed in this house for two nights. The conditions were reasonable for the price I paid (very small kitchen, few bathrooms, comfortable bed). But I definitely cannot recommend it. The owner is a complete maniac. He thinks he is doing the guests a favour for letting them stay there. Always walking around to see if you do anything wrong (he has the house full of rules and instructions for the guests, can you believe that, they are everywhere). And yeah, don't interrupt his dinner or his TV shows -- that is a no-no.
