2 Very rude staff and overpriced rooms
The hostel was very clean, it has a nice lounge and kitchen area. I think the bad outweighs the good. There's only one bathroom with shower shared among ten people (possibly more). I don't know where Melting pot finds its staff, but customer service is obviously not their strong point. The one with long hair and glasses and a really deep voice had a huge chip on her shoulder. Having arrived in tarifa a day early, we stayed a night in a pension down the road, triple room with bathroom was cheaper than us staying in a five-bed room. Also there seems to be a family with a baby living in the hostel, so no noise after midnight is strongly enforced. it's good if you plan on going to bed at midnight every night. I'd book a stay elsewhere next time!

5 The best hostel ever!
Clean, cozy, homey hostel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, very good vibe. Nice lounge, fully equipped kitchen, nice and comfortable dorms. So nice that you won't leave! If you are going to Tarifa, this is the hostel to go.
