Description : Welcome to our backpackers' place on Lake Achensee! We are the perfect place for anybody who likes outdoor activities, hiking, skiing, the beach... all of that is available at our place!!! You are travelling across Europe and wanna get away from it all for some days? Then we are the place to get to!
IMPORTANT:
We are located about 40 km away from Innsbruck, but inserted it here to make it easy for you to find us. We are easily reachable by train to Jenbach, but be aware that it would make sense to stay for a few days to be able to appreciate our breathtaking setting and all the activities you could possibly want to do even though you did not know before.
Some information about our hostel:
Our hostel has space for about 50 persons in 3-6-bed-rooms. We provide common areas for hanging around or being creative, a climbing wall, huge open spaces in front of the house perfect for games or curling in winter. A major cross-country slope passes just by our house.
The nature all around is breathtaking. Feel like Heidi and hike through forests, the lake itself or the top of the mountain with all-around-view in about 2 1/2 hours. The perfect location for winter and summer!
The staff of this hostel has been travelling the world for years and know what a real backpacker is looking for. They can provide any information you might possibly need.

Directions (how to arrive at the establishment) : By airplane: Munich (100 km) or Innsbruck (44 km).
By train: Station Jenbach (major train line). Take bus to Maurach (approx. 6 km).
By car: first find Jenbach, than approx. 6 km to Maurach.
