We are near bus station in town (Labuk Bus station) as well as sepilok orang utan sanctuary buses. Once you see KFC on your left and Sandakan Harbour Square Bed and Breakfast on your right, please TURN LEFT, we are located at the end corner with a Turtle Backpacking Logo.
Arriving via air, we are 15 minutes away buy vehicle from airport. By land, from long distance bus station, you have an option to take any labuk bus (blue color) going to town, pay 60cents only and go down at the last stop which is the bus station, then walk only one minute to Sandakan Backapackers.

Great place to stay Located on the seawall and with a roof garden overlooking the harbour this is one of the best options in town. Rooms are clean and reasonably well-furnished, the staff are friendly and helpful, and you're right in the middle of downtown. Transport, restaurants, and shops are at the door or within a minute's walk. The roof garden features day beds, large screen TV, pool, and darts.
