Description
Originally a Maternity Hospiatl Rawhiti House @ Backpackers has tranquil views overlooking the friendly village of Geraldine.
All beds are fully made and to quote many guests "The best night sleep I have had in New Zealand!" The facilities include - Two fully equiped kitchens -Shared Showers and Toilets - Sunny warm comfortable lounge and sun lounge - Garden Area with 2 Barbecues and seating.
DVD Player - Television -
We offer plenty of off street parking and a lockable bicycle shed.
Geraldine has many things on offer - local artists - specialty shops including Chocolate Shop - Historic Cinema - Variety of Cafes and Pubs - Nature walks within the village with Talbot Forest and only 15 minutes away are the many walks of Peel Forest. In the summer there is White Water Rafting - 4x4 adventures - Kayaking. In the winter we are only about an hour away from three commercial ski fields and some private ones, two hours away from even more.
All this generates a warm relaxing, friendly environment where we are certain you will have an experience to remember.
