Great location, friendly staff. If I have a chance to visit Montreal again, I will use this youth hostel.

Very friendly staff! Great place to get to know other travelers. Convenient location. Not a lot of showers but I never had to wait for more than five minutes, so no complaint. Highly recommended!

Perfect
I stayed for four nights and was sad to leave. The staff give you a guided tour of the hostel on arrival and tell you about all the happenings locally, lots of free maps, and guide book available too. Only five minutes' walk to rue st denis for some great bars and a short walk from metro and bus station. Free breakfast all you can eat cereals, toast, tea, coffee, and bananas! Exceptionally clean, friendly, and secure hostel.

Best hostel ive ever stayed at!
From the moment i stepped foot in the door until the moment i reluctantly departed, the staff and other backpackers at Alexandrie made my stay an unforgettable experience. The staff created a friendly atmosphere and went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and part of the Family. The breakfast was amazing as well and was extremely filling, perfect for the backpacker on a tight budget. Special thanks to Hernan for all his kindness and making the stay very special.
