Oasis Backpackers' Hostel Sevilla is such a chill hostel with tons of people eager to hang out, at a great price, and in good location! The hostel recently moved into a new building, and it definitely is feels like an oasis after traveling around and staying at various other hostels.
There is a common room on the ground floor with free internet (and computers that have memory card readers and CD burners) and tons of info for backpackers. On the top (roof) floor there is a small kitchen, which is a few steps away from the rooftop terrace with its small pool and chairs for lounging. When it's sunny outside, this is a great place to meet the other hostel guests. Each room (clean, but a bit cramped) has its own spotless bathroom. There are safes (but no lockers) for each person in the rooms. Sheets and blankets are included in the price, and towels can be rented.
The hostel offers tapas tours and other night activities (like free flamenco) -- great for meeting new people and getting a taste of Andalusian culture and nightlife. There is no curfew or lockout, and the checkout is at the late hour of 11:30.
The hostel website gives clear, easy directions for getting there from the train station and the two different bus stations (from the airport you first take a bus to the train station). Once you're there, you're in the center of town and close to most tourist attractions, so you can walk everywhere. Oasis is what every backpacker's hostel should be like!
