The Hostelz.com Review
Oasis Backpackers' Hostel Sevilla is such a chill hostel with tons of people eager to hang out, at a great price, and in good location! The hostel recently moved into a new building, and it definitely is feels like an oasis after traveling around and staying at various other hostels.

There is a common room on the ground floor with free internet (and computers that have memory card readers and CD burners) and tons of info for backpackers. On the top (roof) floor there is a small kitchen, which is a few steps away from the rooftop terrace with its small pool and chairs for lounging. When it's sunny outside, this is a great place to meet the other hostel guests. Each room (clean, but a bit cramped) has its own spotless bathroom. There are safes (but no lockers) for each person in the rooms. Sheets and blankets are included in the price, and towels can be rented.

The hostel offers tapas tours and other night activities (like free flamenco) -- great for meeting new people and getting a taste of Andalusian culture and nightlife. There is no curfew or lockout, and the checkout is at the late hour of 11:30.

The hostel website gives clear, easy directions for getting there from the train station and the two different bus stations (from the airport you first take a bus to the train station). Once you're there, you're in the center of town and close to most tourist attractions, so you can walk everywhere. Oasis is what every backpacker's hostel should be like!

4 Great place to stay, near to everything
I've been there on may 2008. I had a one-day trip with two friends of mine. the hostel is very new, central, cosy, colorful, and nice. we stayed in a eight-bedded room, and even if the bathroom was small, was new and clean. we had safety boxes. every one of us had a magnetic card. the kitchen wasn't big, but it had everything, and you can have breakfast in a nice terrace with chairs and little tables. the highlight was the little pool on the same terrace! in the evening is beautiful, have a beer up there and then going out. they have a nice living room where there's the reception, with three pc with free internet. Plus, a nice bar with cheap drinks and "chupitos" (they offer you one free). definitely the best place to stay in sevilla!

4 Recommnd it for young crowd
I was there two days in June 2007. Takes a bit on bus to get there from train station but easy enough. Staff very friendly and helpful. No one at desk when I left early, so didn't get my deposit back. Small common area with internet and wait to get on. Tiny kitchen but ok. Nice hot tub/pool on roof (where kitchen is) a nice plus. Rooms are clean with individual baths attached, which is nice. No private lockers so take something to lock your backpack to bed rail. It's right around the corner from major shopping and the cathedral. I would stay there again.

5 The only place to stay in Seville
Seriously this is the only place to stay in seville. You will meet your new best traveling friends from all over the world at this hostel. Where do i begin. Seville is a very hot place to be. i was here in july where at 3 p.m. it would reach 41 degrees. This place has a small but most convenient pool, that's where you will be from 1 p.m. until midnight. that's where you meet everyone and anyone like it or not. the breakfast is pancakes and toast, better than nothing. the staff are the best -- so friendly, they will go out of their way and stop doing whatever they were doing to help you out, no matter the question. They have a bar that is cheap during happy hour and great variety of drinks. free internet though you do have to wait ten minutes up to forty minutes. the doors to the bathroom you have to slam to closed! it's close to all the main parts of what you wanna see in seville, but you will no doubt get lost! i got lost looking for this hostel on day one for two and a half hours in 41-degree heat with a eighteen kilogram backpack. so advice -- get to seville in the morning. book at least two days advance, they will put you in their other apartments if there is no room, no extra cost. this place is out to impress everyone so they can tell there friends to stay here to increase profits, even though it's cheap as chips. to make it sound better, i arrived at this hostel alone end up leaving seville to malaga with a swedish boy and now traveling with him in malaga, mates now, so you meet people here not only to email but to travel the rest of spain!
