I just returned from Argentina. This hostel was terrible! They had no record of our reservation. Despite showing them a confirmation email, they shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. We ultimately had to stay in the Superior room for significantly more than we had initially planned on paying. The reception staff was very unhelpful and down and out rude the whole time we were there. The hostel is located about ten to fifteen minutes' walk outside of town with nothing around it. No shops, no restaurants. It is completely isolated. The hostel lacks any atmosphere. I stayed in several hostels during my trip to Argentina and throughout my life during other trips. This hostel by far had the rudest staff I have ever encountered. — Ashley (2007-03-15)
