| Location | •Now located at 25 Mangos Street (corner of Mangos and Palmas Streets) behind the market in downtown Zihuatanejo. If arriving by bus from from Troncones, La Saladita or Barra de Potosi, you are a two-minute walk from Angela's Hostel; just turn right as you leave the station and you'll soon see the roof sign. • • Walking from the interstate/regional bus terminal (Estrella Blanca, etc) takes 20 minutes; just head for the market, shown on all maps. If you opt for a taxi (18 pesos) tell the driver 'esquina Mangos con Palmas,' or 'frente del Remate,' (a well-known textile house and local landmark.) Most drivers will know..... • • Arriving from the airport, DO NOT pay for a taxi inside the airport terminal -- there's a much cheaper way into town! Leave the terminal and walk 200 metres diagonally across the airport parking lot. At the road entrance there is a busstop. White-and-purple Nissan combi vans arrive there every 5 minutes and will take you into town for about one dollar. At the end of the run the combi van will leave you right downtown opposite the central market. 'Angela's Hostel' is one block in behind the market. Santandar Bank sits on Mangos St. and Banorte Bank on Palmas St; you'll see them both when you get off the bus. • • Easy. Verdad? |
