Location/ContactRooms are very clean and basic but comfortable and the hustle and bustle of the city is shut away once you enter.
Nobel Hostel is a narrow building the pleasantly spirals up to a great terrace with a self-catering kitchen and barbeque area.
You can have a taste of Turkish cooking or just hang out with other travelers and enjoy the amazing view of the Blue Mosque and the Marmara with its glistening coast which lights up the city at night.
Nobel hostel is next door to and in partnership with Sofa restaurant where you will receive a complimentary breakfast every morning as well as a 20% discount on meals.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and great service. The chef, Seyfi has a great menu full of turkish dishes and delicious vegetarian options.
The grilled vegetables ‘Izgara Sebze' are especially good. There is also a bar here serving beer and spirits or you could give the local raki a go.
Nobel hostel is close to all historical sights: the archeological museum, tile museum, museum of the ancient orient, Topkapi palace, St. Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Suleymaniye Mosque, Spice Bazaar,Yeni Mosque, Sirkeci Train Station, Carpet Museum, Mosaic Museum, Turkish and Islamic Museum, Galata tower and Gulhane Park with its tree lined avenues leading to a row of tea houses looking out across the Boshporus.
All of this is within walking distance. There is free wireless internet access in the lobby and in Sofa restaurant next door.
