The hostel is set on three floors of an apartment building. The ramp leading up to it was populated by black drug dealers and prostitutes. Not recommendable, as dorm keys are often left on beds, so not surrendered for the bond, by those leaving early, as reception is not maned until mid afternoon. Bangladeshi, Eritrean, and Ethiopian changing cleaners are thus responsible till then. It means that it is enormously easy for people to avail themselves of keys. As the front door is opened to anyone that rings, it means that the street people have easy access to your things and self. The one toilet for twelve is always blocked, one shower for twelve too. No common room. Photos not accurate either. They are of the private rooms. Cleaning staff friendly, if lacking in language skills. Owners control freaks. Not advisable for women, especially on their own.

Terrible, a very bad experience. I was a girl traveling alone, and the area is quite unsafe, full of prostitution, drugs. I literally had to jump junkies to get into the front door. they also give you two keys and they ask you very emphatic to keep the elevator closed, it makes you panic. the rooms were dirty and you feel like they're making you a favor into letting in the kitchen.

We have the triple ensuite room. Even though we have our own bathroom, it is down the hall and it is not very handy. The hot water supply isn't very reliable either. The location is very close to the train station, but I wouldn't recommend going there late at night by yourself, since there are some unusual crowd hanging around that street. Also, watch out for the check in time because when we try to check in at 2 pm, our room isn't ready for us, so we have to come back at 4 pm.

Do not stay in this hostel. Having booked a female six-bed dorm with two of my friends we arrived to find out we were in an eight-bed dorm and had to stay with a man. When I complained to management they first lied and said there was not a man in the dorm, and then told us we could leave if we didn't like it. We did not get what we booked. The showers had see-through glass panels in them, and the area was dodgy.

The description provided by the owners on the Internet is dishonest and not a true reflection of the accommodation or services provided! This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in (and that is saying something). Beware if you get a room on the ground floor next to the kitchen, as this is where the owners smoke, party and drink each night until 2 or 3 a.m. Sleep is impossible. Your complaints will also fall on deaf ears. They clearly have no idea or are not interested in servicing their customers.

This is a marvelous place to lodge in Rome. It's near all the important museums and at 2 minutes from Vatican City. The bellboy called SALVATORE was the most interesting attraction of the Italian capital. He's the kind of person you can't forget. Thank you Salvatore for making our dreams true.

This hostel is a nice place for a suicidal person, really, if you want to go to hell.

Do not trust the pictures they uploaded to their site. The place is nothing like that.

This hostel is a nice place, located near the main train station. It's clean, and the staff make you feel like you're at home, even though you don't have that much space. There are only two tables, and four to five chairs, but it was great. You can meet people from different countries, and make some new friends. The information the staff gives you is very useful. This place is great, and I recommend it to everyone, especially young people. They have free pizza on Thursdays, which was great!!! I enjoyed Rome and my stay at the Hostel Eden.

Absolutely terrible experience. Breakfast was a packaged croissant, no one was around when I needed to check out at 10 am on a saturday (after no one showed up to give us breakfast) and even though internet and credit card machines were broken, I was later charged for what I had already paid for in cash. Avoid this place!!

It's worse than a nightmare. On the fourth floor there are 2 showers, 2 wash-basins and 1 loo for 16 (sixteen!) persons. And all of these "facilities" are in the same room. If anyone has to go to the loo, no one can wash their hands. If you want to take a shower, you have no possibility of locking up the bathroom and hanging up your clothes or your towel. There's no heating in the bathroom. There is neither a table nor a chair in the rooms. As the breakfast, you get 120ml of juice and 2 small cakes (?!). On the first floor they have one 4-bed room and one 3-bed room (with no tables and no chairs, too) and their "office" (kitchen – the lowest picture on their website) right in front of these rooms. They stay in the "office", smoke, speak, and laugh loudly until 02:00p.m. The windows in these rooms are faulty, so the street noise is unbearable (hostel is located directly by Termini mainline station). Alcoholics, drug addicts and other dubious persons stay day and night by the windows. And the staff of the hostel is even worse; they stole the APART-leather coat from our room. We reported them to the police. If you want, we have many pictures of the hell called "Eden." emta@freenet.de

We stayed in the dorm on the 4th floor (which looks nothing like these pictures on this web site). It had 8 beds in one room and a tiny bathroom we shared with up to 14 people. The woman working there was nice, but the man Muhammed was a bit creepy. (He propositioned one of our roommates). The hostel was very clean and we met lots of cool people from all over the world. Good location, it was nice to be next to Termini. The kitchen and the internet were great. The lockers cost 2 euros a day so we didn't bother. There wasn't much for common space, only a table in the hallway with a couple of broken chairs. Overall: not that great but worth the 13 euros a night we paid.

At first I was a bit wary because I had not read any reviews about this hostel, but I'm so glad I stayed here!! I stayed in a dorm on the 4th floor. Location is perfect: opposite trainstation and supermarket, the owners are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Facilities are good and the atmosphere is quiet and laid back. I'd recommend this hostel to anybody.
